When a Bamboo seed is planted, it may not show above ground for several years. During this time, the bamboo is actively growing its root system, building a strong foundation for future growth.
Once the root system is established, bamboo can grow at a rapid rate, shooting up to a height of 25 metres in a matter of weeks.

Hello! I'm Louise Mitchell- I'm the Founding Director of Bamboo Coaching and Development. I started the business in 2020 after working for almost 20 years in HR and Learning and Development teams for a number of large organisations. I understand how important it is for consultants to work closely with organisations to properly understand their needs so that together we can find the right solutions for each unique situation.
I am an experienced, professionally qualified people development consultant and coach, accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management. I have supported leaders and employees from many different backgrounds and industries including infrastructure, consultancy, FMCG, engineering, construction, advertising, utilities and TV. I have worked with participants and coachees from Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East.
I have a positive, empathetic and supportive coaching and facilitation style. I really enjoy helping people explore different ideas and possibilities and to look at situations differently. I particularly enjoy using psychometric tools such as Insights Discovery to help participants and coachees gain greater levels of self-awareness and apply their fresh insights in order to improve their personal and professional relationships and communication style.
